Adopted regulation on the return of displaced persons (KIM radio)

The Government of Kosovo adopted, on the proposal of the Minister of Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic, the Regulation on the Return of Displaced Persons, reports KIM radio.

Jevtic says that this Regulation is significant and represents an important step in a lasting and sustainable solution to the process of returning displaced persons to Kosovo.

"This document is an introduction to what is, in the sense of the legality, our goal, and this is the law on displaced persons that the Ministry of Communities and Returns is drafting," Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic said at yesterday's session of the Government of Kosovo proposing the adoption of the Rule-book on the Return of Displaced and Durable Solutions.

Jevtic pointes that the Regulation, after adoption, will be implemented and that the Regulation itself is the result of the joint work of all participants in the regional initiative "Skopje process", international institutions and the Ministry for Communities and Returns and that it should contribute to positive changes in the return process in terms of more practical solutions.
