Dacic: Pristina came out of the dialogue; we have the answer (Vecernje Novosti)
The decision of ''the so-called Kosovo'' not to implement the agreement, on forming the ZSO, is in fact Pristina's decision to leave Brussels Dialogue, said Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, reports today Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti.
On Wednesday the government in Pristina dismissed the agreement on the start of the drafting of the Statute for the establishment of the ZSO, which was reached at a recent meeting in Brussels, with the presence of the EU senior officials. Dacic warns that the entire negotiation process of Belgrade and Pristina can now be returned to zero, the daily reports.
"If the essential part of the agreement that we have agreed upon, the Albanian leaders unscrupulously and without any sanctions refuse to implement, Belgrade can now consider putting an end to all the agreements that we have reached in Brussels," says Dacic.
Novosti writes that the head of Serbian diplomacy also addressed the international community due to the possible failure of the multiannual negotiation process.
"We call on the European Union and the United States to urgently affect Pristina to fulfil its obligations taken over by the Brussels agreement, as the greatest danger so far is threatening the negotiation process to definitely be discontinued. Belgrade would have absolutely no responsibility for that," concludes Dacic.
Kosovo government on Wednesday concluded that "no Pristina official has the mandate to make decisions outside the constitutional framework", reminds the daily.
