Kosovo Minister: Import taxes are all we can do, we have nothing else (N1)

Valdrin Lluka, Kosovo’s Minister of Economic Development, told N1 on Thursday he expected a final solution in Belgrade - Pristina dialogue on normalisation of relations to be reached this year and accused Serbia of not implementing deals agreed in Brussels.

Speaking at the sidelines of the “Challenges and perspectives of normalisation between Belgrade and Pristina” conference in Belgrade, Lluka said that Serbia’s refusal to implement the energy deal from 2013 caused 25 million Euros loss per year for Kosovo.

Serbs in Kosovo to get driving licences without passing test again (RTS)

Responsible bodies in Pristina, allowed inhabitants in Kosovo to obtain driving licences without passing the test again, in case they possess Serbian driving licences issued until 2016, Kosovo Deputy Minister of Interior, Milan Radojevic told RTS.

Radojevic also termed the decision as very important for Serbs in Kosovo, as their freedom of movement is directly linked with personal documents they have.

Borko Stefanovic on Brussels dialogue, stoning in Mitrovica North (B92, Danas)

President of Leftist Party, Borko Stefanovic said two members of his party were injured in Mitrovica North, B92 reported.

They sustained injuries while sitting in a coffee bar, following a debate on Kosovo-Serbia relations.

“While we were sitting and having coffee, some great heroes threw stones at us, breaking the coffee bar’s windows. Two members of the Leftist Party sustained head injuries. Mindless people and cowards will not stop us,” Stefanovic wrote on his Twitter profile.

Vulin: Brussels agreement will not be renegotiated (BETA, B92)

Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said today that agreements reached with Pristina in Brussels will not be renegotiated, Serbian media reported.

Vulin added that the Brussels agreement itself would not undergo any changes.

Vulin was visiting the town of Arandjelovac when he was asked by a journalist to comment on Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's statement that the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) - yet to be formed under the agreement - would be "a non-governmental organization."

Mustafa: Dialogue has produced positive results (RTK/Telegrafi)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said in a debate today on the fourth anniversary of the first Pristina-Belgrade agreements that the dialogue has produced positive results and has enabled Kosovo institutions to exercise control over the north and integrate Serbs into Kosovo institutions. Furthermore, Mustafa said, agreements reached in Brussels through the EU facilitation have also provided Kosovo its own dialing code.

The agreement on freedom of movement is not sufficiently transparent and in the sense is no different from other agreements reached within the framework of the Brussels dialogue. This was the conclusion at the conference "Transparency: Agreement on freedom of movement, doubts and interpretations" that was held at the Center of civic energy in Mitrovica North.

Agreement on the judiciary has lost every meaning (KIM radio)

Although the agreement on the judiciary in northern Kosovo was reached in 2013, there is no implementation yet. Lawyer Dejan Vasić considers that the agreement has lost all meaning although it had "historic significance" for the negotiators, stressing that a lot of time passed since the adoption and almost nothing has been done. Belgrade and Pristina reach agreement on telecommunications (media)

EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn has welcomed the agreement on elecommunications reached in the Kosovo talks in Brussels.

Hahn, who is is charge of EU's Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, referred to "dialogue (between) Kosovo and Serbia" in two messages posted on Twitter, that combined read as follows:

No establishment of the Association if Serbia does not implement the agreements (RTKlive)

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said that there will be no progress on the establishment of the Association/Community of the Serb-majority Municipalities if the agreements with Serbia on telecom and energy are not implemented. “We have a blockade from Serbia or a disrespecting of the agreements on the issues of Kosovo’s dial code and the independence for the energy transmission system,” said Tahiri for Ora News.
