Srpska Lista does not believe Pristina would establish ZSO (RTS)

One day prior to deadline to draft the Statue of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities (ZSO), Srpska Lista does not believe Pristina would establish it, RTS reported.

Management Team members stated draft statute would be ready within a given deadline and they remain ready, at any moment, at Brussels request to present the text to the implementation councils and participants of a high-level dialogue, RTS added.

Srpska Lista MP, Igor Simic told RTS, Management Team worked hard to prepare the draft statute.

Drecun: We do not accept Kosovo membership in UN in turn for ZSO (RTS, Radio Belgrade)

Serbia will not accept membership of a false state of Kosovo in UN in turn for Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities, Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told Radio Belgrade.

He repeated a stance that the only acceptable solution to Belgrade is the one reached in a compromise. What we can offer, Drecun continued, is to sit at the negotiation table and to reach a compromised solution for the Kosovo final status, while anything outside of it will not be accepted.

Members of Management Team for establishing Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities met with Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Kilian Wahl, KIM Radio reported, adding that the Management Team said the values contained in the European Charter on Local Self-governance would be an integral part of ZSO draft Statute.

Drecun: Management Team for ZSO Statute contrary to agreement (TV N1, Danas)

Chairperson of the Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told TV N1, Serbs in Kosovo did not give up on ZSO, but decided to wait since Pristina made a political manoeuvre.

Management Team for ZSO Statute Pristina is establishing is not in accordance with Brussels agreement, Drecun said, therefore the ZSO Statute would be in contradiction to that agreement as well.

Vucic and Mogherini "don't agree on everything" (B92, BETA)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke on Thursday afternoon in Belgrade with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, who on a tour of the region.

Vucic told a joint press conference that he talked with Mogherini about EU accession negotiations chapters, both those where Serbia has made progress, and those where the European Commission says no progress had been made.

The president said he and his guest "did not agree on everything."

Simic: Meeting with Management Team for drafting ZSO Statute today (RTS)

Kosovo MP from Srpska Lista, Igor Simic told RTS that all Serb political representatives would meet today in Zvecan with Management Team for drafting the ZSO Statute.

Simic said he shares opinion of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that Pristina would not make steps necessary to establish the ZSO in the next three and a half months, adding it has been proven so far there is no sincere will in Pristina to establish the ZSO as it was agreed in Brussels.

Dacic: Kosovo cannot be topic of “foreign policy trade” (Tanjug, RTS, Danas)

Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic said Serbia wishes to reach a compromised solution for Kosovo and Metohija, but this issue cannot be used in foreign policy trade as a condition to enter the EU, Tanjug news agency reported.

Dacic made these remarks in a conference “Training of Political Leaders,” held in Belgrade, adding that dialogue with Pristina is conducted in order to reach an agreement, but it cannot be unilateral, respectively one side gets it all, and the other side nothing.

Marko Djuric: Community of Serb Municipalities will be funded from Belgrade (Serbian media)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric reacted today to media reports, referring to unnamed NATO sources' statements on Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities, its powers and ways of financing.

Spanish Ambassador: EU should clearly support establishment of ZSO (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbia should insist on the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities, and European institutions under whose auspices Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is held, should clearly support this legitimate request, Ambassador of Spain to Serbia, Miguel Fuertes Suarez told Tanjug news agency.

“Spain supports dialogue in Brussels. It is logical that crucial element in this dialogue is the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities as it has been agreed,” Ambassador Suarez said.
