Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic met in Pristina with the European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and EU Enlargement Policy Commissioner Johannes Hahn, Serbian media reported.

During the meeting Jevtic emphasized the need to establish the Association of the Serb Municipalities as soon as possible as a precondition for substantive continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group of, Ismet Beqiri stated at today’s Assembly session that Kosovo  institutions demonstrated maturity and institutional acting during Serbia’s two recent provocations, the wall and the train.

After the several-months boycott on participation at the works of the Kosovo Assembly, Serbian List might return tomorrow at the Assembly.

Sources of lajmi.net within the PDK-LDK –Serbian List coalition, said that the decision comes after the recent developments within the Serbian List and possibility to endorse the decree for the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities very soon.

The proposal of the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, to create a special commission for the Association/Community of the Serbian-majority Communities, was not welcomed by the three opposition parties. According to them, the proposal is not serious and it is a joke on Kosovo politics.

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said that there will be no progress on the establishment of the Association/Community of the Serb-majority Municipalities if the agreements with Serbia on telecom and energy are not implemented. “We have a blockade from Serbia or a disrespecting of the agreements on the issues of Kosovo’s dial code and the independence for the energy transmission system,” said Tahiri for Ora News.
