Ratification of demarcation heading towards failure (RFE, RTK)

The government of Kosovo and PM Ramush Haradinaj do not withdraw from their pretentions to prove that the agreement on the border demarcation with Montenegro, signed in August 2015, was wrong.

The government did not shake even after the “scolds” of the President Hashim Thaci, the European Union and lately, the U.S. Embassy in Pristina.

Halil Matoshi, adviser for media at the cabinet of the Prime Minister, told Radio Free Europe, that the position of the Prime Minister remains the same, despite different announcements of local and international officials. Matoshi said that there are no changes for now, at least not until the drafting of the final report of the State Commission for the Border. “It is expected that the new State Commission will come up with the report on findings on this matter very soon and adequate actions will be undertaken only then,” Matoshi said.
