Simic: When the attacks on Serbs will stop? (KIM Radio)

Head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List Slavko Simic asked the MPs in the Kosovo Assembly and Interior Minister Skender Hyseni "When will stop attacks on Serbs in Kosovo," recalling recent attacks in Gorazdevac, Klina/Kline and Kisnica.

"In the first six months of this year were recorded about 180 ethnically motivated attacks, particularly in the municipalities of Pec and Klina. We are witnessing in the last few months an increase in incidents involving Serbian community. We're also witnessing the constant repression and intimidation of the Serbian people in Kosovo," Simic said.

“In recent months happened several attacks on returnees in villages in the municipality of Klina, and recently was shot on the car with BG license plates in Gorazdevac. The same night the gravestones of children killed at the Bistrica River were set fire at and gravestones of the victims of NATO bombing. The next morning we noticed the threatening graffiti on a building in the village, on which was written “revenge”, he said.

Simic recalled also the recent attacks on the family Krstic in Kisnica.

He urged that responsible persons must be found and that the Police provide full protection for the Serb population, especially in returnee areas.
