Simić discussed with US congressmen about the problems of Serbs in Kosovo (KIM radio)
Simić met with the US two-party delegation of Congressmen in the Kosovo parliament, who arrived in a two-day official visit to Kosovo.
He said to a group of congressmen that the Serbian List continues with the political protests of non-participation in Kosovo's institutions.
- I explained that we do not participate because of the laws that were passed in the Assembly and which have unilateral legal basis, and from the process of drafting and adoption have been excluded Serbian political representatives, says Simić.
The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List Slavko Simić said after talks with US congressmen that this list "expects of Pristina to take the responsibility, to agree and define in Brussels with the delegation from Belgrade the process of establishing the Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO), because with the formation of the ZSO, the Serbian nation becomes completely equal in managing institutions and decision making in Kosovo and Metohija ".
He conveyed to congressmen attitude of the Serbian community that at this point the most important is to eliminate any form of frustration and tensions that are present, and thus to continue the process of normalization of relations between the Albanian and Serbian communities.
