Kazakhstan's ambassador reiterates stance on Kosovo (B92)

Bilateral cooperation is developing successfully between Serbia and Kazakhstan, "and there are no outstanding issues."

Serbia's First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and Kazakhstan's ambassador to Serbia based in Budapest, Nurbahom Rustemov, said this during their meeting in Belgrade on Tuesday.

They also "focused on the cooperation at the multilateral level and supporting each other's candidacy in international organizations," the Serbian government announced, quoting an MFA statement.

Special attention was paid to the importance of the principle of territorial integrity.

Rustemov "confirmed that Kazakhstan is consistent in supporting Serbia in international organizations and in its unaltered stance on the non-recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo."
