Serb beaten in Mitrovica (KIM radio, Kontakt plus radio)
A 33-year-old Serb from Kosovo (B. S.) was beaten last night in the northern part of Mitrovica in a multi-ethnic settlement of the Bosniak Mahalla when several unidentified persons came upon him, Kontakt plus radio reports. B. S. is in the Mitrovica hospital.
Radio reports that he was intercepted by a group of unidentified persons who verbally and physically have attacked him.
On that occasion, he received injuries in the head and abdomen and in unconscious state he was transferred to the Clinical and Hospital Center in Mitrovica.
This is the second attack on him this year, reminds Kontakt plus radio, and states that he was attacked earlier, on April 17th in the Bosniak mahala, when five young men, some of them with bats and arms, and with shouts "Allahu Akbar" caused him bodily injuries.
Kontakt plus radio reports that the regional head of the Kosovo Police Operations, Zeljko Bojic, confirmed to the radio that the incident had taken place and that the police had begun an investigation into the incident.
