Strahinja Spasic declared victory in Klokot (KIM Radio)

Strahinja Spasic, Srpska Lista mayoral candidate in the municipality of Klokot, declared victory in the second round of mayoral elections, KIM Radio reported.

RTS earlier reported that Bozidar Dejanovic, who joined Srpska Lista before the second round of mayoral elections in Klokot, won elections while the Central Election Commission said he was leading ahead of Spasic,

KIM radio further reported that “Lista Srpska Strahinja Spasic won 1030 votes, while opposition headed by Bozidar Dejanovic won 1020 votes”. “Unfortunately, we are obliged to mention that the citizens of Klokot municipality were under all-day long and unbearable pressure from the criminal cycle of Mr. Dejanovic. Despite such pressure, fake news and announcements, the citizens decided whom to trust,” reads the press statement sent to KIM Radio. The statement also refers to the “gross violation of pre-election silence by publishing the fake news that Spasic withdrew his candidacy,” and that this “created confusion among Spasic’s supporters”. Meanwhile, Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) headed by Aleksandar Jablanovic, congratulated victory to Strahinja Spasic in the second round of mayoral elections in Klokot municipality, KIM Radio reported. “The only way for safe remain of Serbs is a political choice of people who are not imposed by official Belgrade and who will not place its’ policy at the local level before the policy of the local population,” PKS statement said.
