Samardzic: It is ours, even if occupied (Danas)
Former Minister for Kosovo and Metohija in the Serbian Government, Slobodan Samardzic assessed today that regardless if “delineation” between Kosovo and Serbia is realistic or not, the stance of Raska-Prizren Eparchy dignitaries remain as a warning that not a single piece of Kosovo and Metohija territory must be surrendered, Danas daily reports.
Samardzic termed President Vucic’s announcements on delineation “as a miserable trade of something that does not belong to him,” while the stance of Serbian Orthodox Church dignitaries is how statesmen should react – we do not give away what it ours, no matter how much it is occupied – Samardzic noted.
According to Samardzic, delineation is not realistic “because Aleksandar Vucic and Ivica Dacic took an obligation that Serbia and Kosovo, in a form as recognized by those, Vucic and Dacic obliged to, would sign an agreement on recognition.”
There is a shallow political mind in Serbia that would extend a hand to sign an act on definite renouncing of a part of the territory. It is from constitutional aspect, violation of many of its articles, including the one on territorial unity and integrity of the state, Samardzic underlined, Danas daily reported.
