Director of the Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric laid flowers in Gorazdevac in front of the restored monument of Serbs killed in this village.

Djuric attended the consecration of the restored monument in the centre of Gorazdevac, conducted by Archimandrite Sava Janjic.

The monument was demolished on December 7 last year and renovated with the funds of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Pristina-based media reported that the decision to introduce sanctions to Serbia could enter into force in March, hence Kosovo government will discuss this issue at a meeting of CEFTA members in Brussels on 3 March.

The Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, stated yesterday that he doesn’t understand the resistance to his proposal for voluntary contributions to the humanitarian Fund of the Eparchy of Raska and Prizren, and added that is it unbelievable that anyone would object to voluntary contributions to the Church’s Fund.

The Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, said that it is unacceptable that 15 years after the bomb attack and killing of 12 passengers on a bus near Podujevo/Podujevë, no one is held responsible for the crime.

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the attack on the bus "Nis Express" near Podujevo, in which were killed 12 and wounded 43 Serbs, Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric said that the fact that this crime doesn’t have a court epilogue is unacceptable.

During the sharp conflict with the opposition, Pristina authorities are trying in all possible ways to replace political misunderstandings with the announcement that at the end of the EU road, Belgrade will have to recognize independence of its province. That’s how Kosovo deputy FM Petrit Selimi tried to make political manoeuvre and stated for RTK2 that process of Kosovo recognition is one-way street, claiming that Serbia will be conditioned to recognize Kosovo independence.

Director the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric met with newly appointed Ambassador of Cyprus to Serbia Constantinos Eliades on Thursday.

Djuric thanked Eliades for the Cyprus government's consistent support for the policy on Kosovo-Metohija pursued by Serbia, expressing the hope that the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries would continue to improve, the Office for KiM said in a release.

Representatives of the government of Kosovo and Kosovo Serb representatives agreed today that there is no doubt that the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities will be created and that the A/CSM creation obligation lies with Pristina now.

The Serbian List will decide whether Serbian candidates will present themselves for President of Kosovo. The Albanian political elite in Pristina needs to get used to the fact that the Serbs have a right to be part of decision-making in the province and that they cannot only be political decor that contributes to creating the false image of a multi-ethnic society, said Marko Djuric, Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo.

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric met today in Belgrade with President of the Serbian List Slavko Simic.  Djuric and Simic discussed the current political and security situation in Kosovo and reaffirmed the importance and necessity of coordinated action and cooperation between the Serbian government and the elected Serbian representatives in Kosovo, with an emphasis on the need to strengthen the political unity of the Serbian people in the province.
