The leader of the Civic Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic assessed today that announcement about a resolution on genocide against Albanians committed by Serbs in 1999 in Kosovo can lead to a deep polarization amongst Serbs and Albanians, and that in such circumstances the Serbian List is closer to the option of not returning to Kosovo institutions.

The representatives of the Serbian List said on Friday that respecting the coalition agreement remains the only condition of the Serbian List to return to Kosovo institutions.  The news was announced by the director of the Office for Kosovo in the Serbian Government, Marko Djuric.

MITROVICA - Respect of the coalition agreement remains the only condition for return to Pristina institutions, representatives of the Serb community in the Kosovo government and parliament, said at the meeting with Director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric.

MP of the Bosniak Group "6+" in the Assembly of Kosovo, Dude Bala, said that yesterday Parliament did not consider "a resolution on the genocide of Serbs over the Kosovars."

"I think discussion on this topic can bother the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade," assessed Bala, adding that the resolution was not included on the agenda because of the oversized agenda and that it will be discussed at the next session.

Bala said that the Group "6+" did not bring a stance on the resolution, but thinks that now is not the time to discuss it.

Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, said in the meeting of the Kosovo government today that the draft law for the establishment of the Kosovo Armed Forces (KAF) is ready and that now 2/3 of MP votes need to be secured for the adoption of the law. Mustafa also said that the Armed Forces will not go to the northern part of Kosovo without a prior agreement with NATO.

The former Communities and Returns Minister, Aleksandar Jablanovic, said on Friday the Serbian List discussed with Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa in regards to their return to Kosovo institutions, and that they [Serbian List] will announce their decision within two days.  He also said that Mustafa was “too soft” with the opposition parties, which according to him, he shouldn’t have done that.

Serbian List representatives have rejoined Kosovo institutions as its leaders were seen entering the government building at around 9 o’clock. Serbian List officials did not wish to comment on whether they are going in for a meeting with Prime Minister Isa Mustafa or for resuming their activities in the government.

Aleksandar Jablanovic, former Communities and Returns Minister, said on Wednesday that they as representatives of Serbs in Kosovo have completed their tasks, and now the government of Kosovo should be constructive and carry out its duties. He added that the Serbian List have become part of the Kosovo institutions for Serbia’s interest and not for personal or party interests. "Unfortunately, today there are people who think they cleanse Kosovo, but I'm sure that amongst Albanians there are people with whom we can find common language and deals.

Aleksandar Jablanovic, the former Communities and Returns Minister in the Kosovo government who was dismissed from duty after insulting families of missing persons in Gjakova/Djakovica, is expected to be appointed chairman of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities.

Joint session of all Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo will take place tomorrow in Gračanica/Graçanicë, a source from the Serbian List told Beta agency.

Session was set to take place at the last week meeting between representatives of Kosovo Serbs and the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and the head of Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đuric.
