Selimi: Vetevendosje will respect Constitution for Assembly speaker’s post (EO)
In an interview to Ekonomia Online, Vetevendosje’s Rexhep Selimi said they continue to have red lines towards possible cooperation with the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Serbian List but not with regards to other political entities. However, Selimi said that constitutionally, the post of Assembly speaker belongs to the PAN coalition led by the PDK. “We will respect the Constitution giving priority to the leading entity to have the speaker’s post”, Selimi said.

Reports that Vetevendosje is expected to enter a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) were dispelled today by Vetevendosje MP Rexhep Selimi who said that these were merely speculations. “No one will drag Vetevendosje into political deals. If we wanted to enter into those kind of combinations we would have done so before,” Selimi said going on to confirm that Vetevendosje would run alone in June elections as “the only hope and the only solution.”

Vetevendosje MP, Rexhep Selimi, said that the government of Kosovo is accessory to Serbia in undermining sovereignty of Kosovo. He said the situation whereby Kosovo ministers and MPs vote in Serbian presidential elections today is “intolerable”.
Demarcation and Association will not pass, be it with Serbian or Russian List (Gazeta Metro)
Kosovo Assembly MP from Vetevendosje movement, Rexhep Selimi, said that demarcation of the border with Montenegro and Association of the Serb-majority Municipalities would not pass at the Assembly despite the return of the Serbian List at the Assembly. “The government by all means needs return of the Serbian List at the Assembly in order to fight Vetevendosje’s and opposition’s cause,” Selimi said. However, he added, “we are determined to stop the Association and demarcation even if they invite a Russian list.”
