Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov attended the farewell reception of the Serbian ambassador in Moscow. Lavrov thanked Slavenko Terzic for the joint work and wished him much success in his further career.

Lavrov referred to the friendship of the two peoples, a common history - the history of the brotherhood of Slavs and Orthodox.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said it cannot ignore "a series of steps taken by the current Albanian leadership in connection with the consolidation of the Albanian factor within the regional policy of Tirana," reported Radio Television of Serbia.

Belgrade count on coordinating position with Moscow on the Kosovo issue, reports B92, quoting Moscow daily Kommersant.

The Russian daily devoted an article to the announced visit of Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic to Russia.

The daily says that during today's talks between Dacic and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, the main topic of the talks will be Kosovo, because the fate of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina should be clarified by the end of April.

Foreign Ministers of Serbia and Russia, Ivica Dacic and Sergey Lavrov, will meet in Moscow on April 17, reports Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti, quoting Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Chepurin.

"Confidential contacts between foreign political authorities have become regular," Chepurin noted in his Twitter account. He added that Dacic and Lavrov "complement intensive and friendly dialogue at the highest level - between the leaders of Vladimir Putin and Aleksandar Vucic".

Serbian Orthodox Church Raska-Prizren Eparchy Bishop Teodosije met in Moscow with Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, who is a Chairman of the Moscow’s Patriarchate Department for Foreign Affairs, KoSSev portal reports.

The two dignitaries also discussed Kosovo and Metohija. Metropolitan Hilarion underlined that Russian Orthodox Church fully supports Serbian Orthodox Church, and its clergy in Kosovo and Metohija, and it would continue unreservedly do so in the future, KoSSev portal reported.

During the weekend, all Serbian media quoted a statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) in Kosovo, where it was said that the situation is concerning and that the practice of usurpation of the property continues.

The Ministry listed, as an example, the Church of St. John the Baptist and the Holy Paraskeva, which are no longer found in the local cadastre documents in Pec as the property of the SPC, it was published on the website of the Russian Ministry.

Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti reports today on the visit of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic to Moscow and his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The daily writes that the Russian Federation and Putin personally will continue to strongly support the territorial integrity of Serbia and its diplomatic fight for Kosovo in all international institutions, including the UN, while at the same time encouraging the position of military neutrality and autonomy in Serbia's decision-making.

President Aleksandar Vucic will speak in the Kremlin on October 2 with Russia's President Vladimir Putin, Beta has been told by diplomatic sources in Moscow.

The topics of their discussion have not been announced.
According to announcements coming from the Kremlin, Putin and Vucic will not address journalists after the talks.

Vucic's previous meeting with Putin was during a two-day visit to Moscow in May, when he attended Victory Day celebrations.

Diplomatic sources of Danas and international relations experts do not exclude completely the possibility of Serbia changing the foreign policy course, but they assess that Belgrade will endeavour in maintaining the current position of balancing between the West and Russia.

According to interlocutors of Danas, any changes in foreign policy will depend largely on the next phase of resolving the Kosovo issue.

The two-day Conference on International Security opened in Moscow on Wednesday, with participation of representatives from 95 countries.

Among the defense ministers and military officials is Serbia's Aleksandar Vulin.
