“With its convincing victory, Srpska Lista once again showed it enjoys the trust of almost all Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija,” a mayor of Mitrovica North and President of Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic said to KIM Radio.
“Srpska Lista was not our opponent, our opponent was the entire Government of Serbia with all its resources. When you take that into consideration, our result is not that bad,” leader of the Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic said to KIM Radio.
Serbian Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin congratulated victory of Srpska Lista in municipalities with Serb majority, in local Kosovo elections, Tanjug news agency reported.
President of the Republic of Srpska, (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Milorad Dodik congratulated last night victory to Srpska Lista, in the Kosovo local elections, adding it would provide easier achievement of Serb national interests, RTV Puls reported.
“I think it is important and it would provide for the continuation of the policies coordinated from Belgrade. In any case, it would be easier to achieve the Serbian national interests in Kosovo and state policy in Kosovo,” Dodik said.“Victory of Srpska Lista in all Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo local elections once again confirmed the unity of the Serb people in the southern province,” said Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun, RTS reported.
Serbian side would be ready tomorrow for the creation of a new court and new prosecution with Serb majority in the north of Kosovo, which is a delay of two or three days and therefore Serbia would be ready to fully implement obligations related to the agreement on judiciary, the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric said to Tanjug.
A working meeting of the Union of Srpska Lista Women was held in Mitrovica North yesterday, and participants said women in this area are very strong and ready to face political circumstances, Kontakt plus radio reported.
Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) said today in a response to accusations that Marko Jablanovic was involved in attacks against Srpska Lista activists, that someone had misused falsified identity card of Marko Jablanovic and presented it for identification, KIM Radio reported.
