117,808 Voters in Kosovo Municipalities with a Serb Majority (Serbian media)

According to preliminary data, 117,808 voters will have the right to vote in ten Serb-majority municipalities in Kosovo, Serbian media quoted Kosovo Election Commission announcement.

That is 738 more voters than in the previous 2017 elections. Municipality of North Mitrovica has the highest number of the voters, where 22,457 voters are registered in the electoral roll. The municipality of Klokot has the lowest number of voters - 3,849 voters are registered.

Simic: CEC decision illegal, should be an additional motive for Serbs to vote (Kontakt plus radio, TV Most)

Serbian List Vice President Igor Simic told Zvecan based TV Most that the CEC decision on vote in the upcoming election only with documents issued in Kosovo does not give Serbs the opportunity to elect their legitimate representatives.

Simic said that "it will definitely affect the number of Serbs who will be able to exercise their right to vote after the unlawful decision of the CEC, but also the unlawful decision of the Court in Pristina."

Drecun: Kosovo Albanians not ready to sit at the negotiating table (RTS)

Chairman of the Serbian Assembly Committee for KiM Milovan Drecun told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that the purpose of the elections in Kosovo is to stabilize the Albanian political scene, to build an executive that will be more unified on key political issues and have a firmer position for talks with Belgrade.

Drecun adds that one cannot see willingness among existing Albanian leaders to sit at the negotiating table and seriously engage in talks with Serbia.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric told TV Pink on Sunday that October 6th elections are essential important for Serbs and important for preserving ‘’Serbia’s influence in the province’’ and called all the Serbs to use their voice and be united.

Simic: CEC still without replay to Srpska Lista request (RTS, Kosovo-online)

Srpska Lista Deputy Chair Igor Simic said the Election Appeals and Complaints Panel still did not respond to the request of Srpska Lista to annul decision to ban voting with the Serbian documents in the upcoming Kosovo elections, scheduled on October 6, RTS reports.

He added that Srpska Lista will always support the Serbian people, and be defense against attempts of any sort, including the institutional violence carried out in this manner.

Voting in the upcoming elections only possible with Kosovo IDs, some political entities protest (KoSSev)

According to the preliminary list of the Kosovo Central Election Commission, 1,927,466 citizens registered to vote in the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections scheduled for October 6 – the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi told Pristina-based Gazeta Express.

However, Kosovo only had 1,795,666 million residents in 2018, according to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics. This substantial difference between the number of registered voters and the estimated population has been greatly discussed in the Kosovo public.

Trajkovic on CEC decision: Agreement between Pristina and international community (N1, Kosovo-online)

Member of Serbian National Forum Presidency Momcilo Trajkovic assessed today that the current Pristina authorities “would not dare to make decision on thier own” based on which voting in the upcoming Kosovo elections on October 6 would be possible using Kosovo issued documents only, Kosovo-online portal reports. Trajkovic added “that instruction most probably came from certain international circles”.

He also assessed “it was an internal agreement between Pristina officials and the international community”.
