The Serbian List: Civil Defense is not a parallel structure (Kontakt Plus Radio)

The Civil Defense has never been, nor is the parallel structure, but one of the few institutions acting with utmost responsibility when it comes to the people’s lives and their safety in hazardous situations, announced today the Serbian List reacting to the Kosovo government’s intention to disband the Civil Defense.

The intention of the government in Pristina is a clumsy attempt to once again set a less important topic as a priority, which should be solved jointly and with full consensus and political agreement, the statement said.

Kosovo Army again on agenda of Pristina (Vesti)

The attempt of Pristina to push an amendment on the formation of a new army of Kosovo together with other constitutional amendments causes destabilization of the region, claim the interlocutors of Sputnik.

According to Aleksandar Jablanović, president of the Serbian List, the intention of forming new armed forces in the region is especially dangerous because that armed formation should be composed of people whose past is controversial (former KLA members).

Pristina manipulating population figures (Vesti)

The Mayor of Leposavić/Leposaviç Municipality Dragan Jablanović yesterday stated that Pristina is manipulating with numbers of Kosovo Serbs in northern Kosovo and with numbers of Albanians living in the south of the Ibar/Ibër River. He explained that thousands of Serbs are erased from the registers whereas thousands of non-existing Albanians are added to registers.

Negotiation process should not be jeopardized (KIM Radio)

The leader of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanović yesterday stated that negotiation process between Belgrade and Pristina must not be jeopardized, and voiced hope that European Union will realize where the obstruction of the Brussels dialogue is coming from.

Jablanović said that it is quite normal in any negotiations between two opposed sides, that agreement is not always reached, however negotiation process should not be jeopardized after the last round of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels.

Jablanovic: Only the northern Serbs can remove Ibar barricade (Koha)

The news site reports on a roundtable being held in the town of Gracanica about the situation in Kosovo, specifically about the northern part of the country. Sources told Koha that in attendance is Aleksandar Jablanovic, the leader of the Serbian List and former Kosovo Minister for Returns and Communities who was suspended from this post after insulting the mothers of missing persons from Gjakova/Djakovica. Jablanovic reportedly said at the roundtable that only the northern Serbs can remove the barricade on the River Ibar Bridge.

MPs from the Serbian List will vote against the Kosovo army (Politika)

In order that constitutional amendments referring to the creation of Kosovo armed forces are adopted by the Kosovo parliament votes of at least 13 MPs from the ranks of non-majority communities are needed.

Proposal of the constitutional amendments referring to the creation of Kosovo armed forces can hardly pass in the Kosovo parliament without support of Serb MPs. President of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanovic said to Politika that MPs from that list will vote against that proposal.

Jablanovic with Zbogar on Special Court (Blic)

On Thursday, Jablanovic conferred with EU Special Representative Samuel Zbogar in Pristina about several current issues, with special emphasis on the forthcoming adoption of the Law on the Special Court for KLA crimes.

The meeting served to exchange ideas how to resolve some important issues in Kosovo, with special focus on Serbian perception of the Law which should soon be put before the parliament, said Jablanovic.

Jablanović: Progress though agreement (TV Most)

The former minister for communities and return in the Kosovo government and President of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanović has not decided yet whether he will go to Đakovica/Gjakovë if summoned by a prosecution.

“I have neither intention nor desire to prove my innocence, particularly not in front of the prosecution in Đakovica,” said Jablanović.

A proceeding against Jablanovic is disturbing (RTK2)

The court proceedings, initiated by the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova/Djakovica, against Aleksandar Jablanovic represent "a form of political persecution" through the judicial system.

"This is a political matter and it is completely clear. What else could it be? Did he mention "savages Albanians", who identify oneself with the term savages? The people who came out to apply violent methods. Jablanovic did not address either Albanians or Serbs, but those who were violent," Trajkovic said.
