Pacolli suprises Brnabic in UN (N1)

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Beghjet Pacolli surprised Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic at the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday when he walked up to her while she was making a statement to the media.

While shaking hands, Brnabic asked him who gave him permission to be at the UN and Pacolli replied in Serbian: “I got your permission”. Brnabic responded saying “Not mine, if you had asked me...”.

Brnabic instead of Vucic in New York (Danas)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is not going to the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly next week, instead Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will go to New York, finds out Belgrade-based daily Danas from the circles close to the top state authorities.

Vucic-Thaci meeting in September uncertain (RTS, Tanjug)

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini announced on Friday that another meeting of the presidents, Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci during the Brussels dialogue will be held in September, prior to the start of the ministerial week of the UN Security Council in New York. However, diplomatic sources of Tanjug in the EU say it is uncertain whether there will the meeting, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

Diplomatic sources state that the problem can be a timeframe, but also a justification for the meeting.

Vucic-Trump meeting could happen by end of year (Blic, Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic "should meet with US President Donald Trump" by the end of the year, writes the Belgrade-based daily Blic.

According to the newspaper - which cited "a source from diplomatic circles in Washington" - Vucic will first meet with US Vice President Mike Pence in New York in September.

Blic said that this meeting, which "should take place around September 20" will effectively represent "an introduction to the meeting with Trump."
