Kosovo Interior Ministry confirmed that three Islamists were arrested on suspicion that they were engaged in recruitment of new members, not because of planning attacks in Serbia.

Three members of the Islamic state were arrested on the basis of operational data, which Kosovo received from Turkey and another country.

According to information Tanjug received, there was no indication that the three arrested intended and planned attacks in Serbia, as some media have reported.

Arrested on suspicion of preparing attacks in Serbia (Kontakt plus radio, Alo)

Three members of the Islamic State (F.B, I.F. and S. L.) were arrested in Kosovo on suspicion of plotting terrorist attacks in Serbia.

As reported by Alo daily, Kosovo police detained the returnees from the war zone in Syria (F. B, I.F and S. L.) and filed criminal charges against them due to their link with the Islamic state.

They were remanded in custody because of the formation of Islamic state cells in Kosovo.

Some members of Kosovo police in northern Kosovo, who requested anonymity, stated that they suspected that some of the recent actions of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK) were aimed at destabilizing the Regional Directorate of Mitrovica North Police.

This reaction came after PIK suspended several police officers in northern Kosovo on suspicion of corruption and of having committed the crime of bribery.

President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić said that he expects acceleration of the process of establishment of the Special Court for war crimes committed by the KLA and prosecution of the persons responsible for atrocities in Kosovo and Metohija. “On Friday, at an extraordinary session of the Assembly in Pristina, we avoided a deepening of political crisis by the election of the Kosovo president. Therefore, I expect acceleration of many processes in Kosovo and thus the process of forming a Special Court for war crimes," he said.

President of the Serbian Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo Milovan Drecun said that the question arises what the Special Court, before which members of the KLA will be tried, will do about Hashim Thaci, considering the new information of his involvement in organ trafficking. Media reports that the Nigerian Medical Association accused Rochas Okorocha, a billionaire and governor of Imo State of organizing a human organ trafficking network in Nigeria in collaboration with the former Prime Minister of Kosovo.
