Drecun: Last chance for crimes in Kosovo (KIM Radio, RTS)

The chairman of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that the establishment of the list of defense attorneys and the injured for the Specialized Council in Pristina will be completed for the next two to three months and the first indictments of the Special Prosecutor's Office should be expected afterwards.

Kosovo prosecution indicts two persons from Peja on terrorism charges (Telegrafi)

Kosovo Special Prosecution has filed an indictment against two persons from Peja/Pec on terrorism charges. The suspects are accused of managing a radio station and a web portal in the territory of Kosovo for spreading of terrorist propaganda aimed at encouraging the Kosovo youths to join terrorist organisations in Syria and Iraq. They are also being accused of joining foreign troops.

Two Serbs accused for Rrezalla massacre of 1999 (Koha)

The families of the victims of the Rrezalla massacre submitted to the Special Prosecution in Pristina an indictment against two former members of the Serb forces – Ljubisa Diković, former commander of the 37th motorized brigade of the Yugoslav Army, and Dejan Ranđelović, commander of the 2nd battalion of the 37th motorized brigade of the Yugoslav Army, for the killing of 41 Albanian civilians on 2 April 1999. Arianit Koci, legal representative for the families, said it is final time to act and try the people responsible for this crime.

Arrested on suspicion of preparing attacks in Serbia (Kontakt plus radio, Alo)

Three members of the Islamic State (F.B, I.F. and S. L.) were arrested in Kosovo on suspicion of plotting terrorist attacks in Serbia.

As reported by Alo daily, Kosovo police detained the returnees from the war zone in Syria (F. B, I.F and S. L.) and filed criminal charges against them due to their link with the Islamic state.

They were remanded in custody because of the formation of Islamic state cells in Kosovo.

Procurement review body chief resigns (Koha/Kallxo)

The chairman of the Kosovo Procurement Review Body, Hysni Hoxha, has resigned from his post today. Sources told Koha that Hoxha cited health reasons in his resignation letter. Hoxha has been indicted by the Special Prosecution of Kosovo with “abuse of position or authority”. Pristina-based news site Kallxo quotes Hoxha as saying, “my resignation has nothing to do with the charges against me. Those charges are nonsense and are not related to this”.
