''Money spent in northern Kosovo is supporting the leaders and not the people'' (KIM radio)

''Where were the millions of euros invested in the north of Kosovo?'' was a topic of a debate held on Tuesday in Media Centre in Caglavica, reports KIM radio.

Some panelists claimed that there was a detailed report for each euro invested, and that citizens were informed about everything else, others feel that neither councilors nor citizens had information on how the funds have been spent.

Journalists' Association of Serbia: To determine who hacked the sites of the ''Slobodno Srpski'' and Media Center (Kossev)

The Journalists’ Association of Serbia (UNS), through its Kosovo branch requests the Kosovo police and the Prosecutor’s Office to determine who is behind the attacks on the sites of ''Slobodno Srpski'' and Media Centar from Caglavica.

The sites were hacked following the Journalists’ Association of Serbia in Kosovo posthumously awarded the ''Beli Bozur '' award to Oliver Ivanovic for the best cooperation with the media and journalists.

1269 cases of violence against women, five women murdered (Radio KIM)

Every third woman in Kosovo is subjected to domestic violence, UN Women in Kosovo Director, Flora Macula said today during debate in Media Centre in Caglavica. Police said there are 1269 domestic violence cases reported last year, and five cases ended tragically.

628 cases in which women were the victims were reported in the first half of the year. Out of this number, 78 cases happened in the Serb-populated areas.

Caglavica: Do civil society reactions and condemnations have effect? (KIM Radio)

Representatives of several Serb non-governmental organizations from Kosovo discussed today in a debate organized in Caglavica whether reactions and condemnations from the civil society have an effect, KIM Radio reported.

Centre for Peace and Tolerance Director, Nenad Maksimovic said “it became politically incorrect to speak out and publicly criticize representatives of the authorities, being it on local or central level, with an opportunism prevailing which is the worst thing.”

“Ivanovic murder strong slap to Kosovo government” (KIM Radio)

“Murder of Oliver Ivanovic is a great challenge for Kosovo society and a strong slap to the Kosovo Government, and to all of us who live in Kosovo,” Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Milan Radojevic said in a debate on the rule of law held in Caglavica today, KIM Radio reports.

Radojevic assessed the murder as a great challenge for Kosovo but also for the international community.

Center for Security Studies Director, Florian Qehaja also thinks the Kosovo Government bears part of the responsibility.
