Kuci: Candidacy for Assembly Speaker post hasn’t been discussed in PDK (Lajmi)

Hajredin Kuci, deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), told Lajmi that the PDK has not discussed his candidacy for the post of Assembly Speaker. Zeri reported today that the PDK is considering proposing Kuci for the post. “This has not been discussed in the PDK,” Kuci was quoted as saying.

According to an unofficial list that the news website has secured from the Counting and Results Centre, leader of Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Hashim Thaci, is the most voted candidate with a total of 125,509 votes. The second most voted candidate is the leader of Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa with 94,031 votes followed by Vetevendosje leader, Albin Kurti, with 47,940.

The German diplomat has posted on his Facebook profile a video from the joint press conference of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Kosovo’s outgoing Prime Minister, Hashim Thaçi, during the visit of the latter in Berlin.
