Fatherland Movement calls for boycott of elections (KoSSev)

Serb National Movement Fatherland once again called for the boycott of the upcoming mayoral elections in the four northern municipalities, claiming that “the current regime of Aleksandar Vucic forces citizens” to take part in elections, KoSSev portal reported. Todic: Elections organised in an ambiance of fear and uncertainty (RTS)

Elections for the mayors of four municipalities will be held on Sunday in the north of Kosovo, RTS reports. In the next five days, candidates will have the right to hold rallies and present themselves to voters.

Zoran Todic, a Serbian List candidate for Mayor of Leposavic municipality told RTS that the elections are organized in an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. He invited all citizens who have the right to vote to go to the polls.

Serbian List filed complaint related to Central Election Commission decision (Radio kontakt plus, RTK)

Three days have left until the application deadline for the mayoral candidates in the four northern municipalities. The Central Election Commission said yesterday no political entity applied for the mayoral elections in Mitrovica North, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic municipalities, Radio kontakt plus reported. Srpska Lista Deputy Chair Igor Simic told the Radio, Srpska Lista in the coming days would submit a list of candidates for all four municipalities in the north, in order to safeguard the freedom and prevent Pristina to appoint an Albanian or a marionette from the Serbian people.
