Radojevic: No official information about investigation of Marko Djuric’s arrest (Tanjug, TV Most)

One year after the arrest of Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric in Mitrovica North there is no yet official information about the investigation of his arrest, Kosovo Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Milan Radojevic said, adding it is an important test for Pristina institutions that would show whether they are functional or not, TV Most reported.

Radojevic sent a request to Pristina police to launch an investigation and determine the responsibility of individuals over the way Marko Djuric was transferred to Pristina.

Kosovo Serbs: No compromise over University of Pristina with the seat in Mitrovica North (RTS)

The Pristina University with the seat in Mitrovica North was, is and will be part of the educational system of the Republic of Serbia, and there is no compromise about it, said Rade Grbic, Rector of the University.

Marked anniversary of the March pogrom - 15 years of no justice (Kontakt plus radio)

Memorial service in Mitrovica North for Serbs killed on this day in 2004, was served in front of the “Monument to the truth”, by laying flowers and lighting candles at a memorial plaque of Jana Tucev and Borivoje Spasojevic, has marked the 15th anniversary of the March pogrom, reported Kontakt plus radio.

Fifteen years ago, Dragan Spasojevic was left without a father in the Kosovo riots in North Mitrovica. Borivoje Spasojevic was killed in Kolasinska street in Mitrovica North.

Van transporting Serbs from Suvi Do to Mitrovica North stoned (Radio KIM, BETA, TV Most)  

On Saturday night at Mađer settlement, a group of Albanian young men stoned a van transporting Serbs from Suvi Do village to Mitrovica North, TV Most reported.

TV Most added no one was injured, because passengers had seen young men with stones on time, however, there were children in the van who got scared. Eyewitnesses told TV Most this is the tenth attack on Serbs traveling from Suvi Do village to Mitrovica North in one month’s time.

Third anti-government protest in northern Kosovo (N1, KoSSev)

For the third time, about a hundred of Kosovo Serbs gathered in the divided town of Mitrovica for #1in5million protests and walked to the place where their opposition leader Oliver Ivanovic was riddled with bullets on January 16, 2018, the portal KoSSev reported.

They were joined for the first time by activists of the Popular “Fatherland” Movement and members of the Alliance for Serbia (SzS) opposition group.

Protest against tariffs, unification of city, and seizure of Trepca held in Mitrovica North (Radio KIM)

A protest gathering was held at midday in Mitrovica North against the tariffs Pristina introduced on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, unification of Mitrovica and seizure of Trepca, KIM Radio reports.

Protesters, including citizens, Trepca workers, students and Serb political representative said they would use all allowed means to fight for their remain and survival in Kosovo. They also conveyed a message of support to the Serbian state leadership to sustain in intentions to reach a compromise and peaceful solution to the Kosovo issue.

‘One in Five Million’ protest organizers in Mitrovica North claim to have received threats (KoSSev)

The National Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija Fatherland said yesterday that they allegedly received threats to give up on the “One in Five Million” protest planned to be held today in Mitrovica North, KoSSev portal reports.

Protest in North Mitrovica will take place tomorrow (TV Most, Radio Mitrovica Sever)

Zvecan based TV Most reports that tomorrow, March 7, a protest of Serbs against the “anti-civilizational tariffs, political persecution, staged/framed warrants, attempts to plunder Trepca and suppression of the rights of Serbs in Kosovo”.

The protest will be held in Sumadija square, starting at noon.

Fatherland Movement invites citizens to attend “One in Five Million” protest in Mitrovica North (KoSSev)  

KoSSev portal reported today that Serb National Movement Fatherland as a member of Alliance for Serbia (SzS) invited citizens to attend the protest walk “One in Five Million” on Thursday, March 7, starting at 18.00 in Mitrovica North.

According to KoSSev, this will be the first time that this movement is organizing “One in Five Million” protest walk and third such gathering in Mitrovica North. Fatherland Movement said they are against the “division and surrender of the southern Serbian province”.

''Billboards in North Mitrovica warn of 11-year-long occupation'' (Tanjug, N1)

Billboards saying ‘11 years of occupation 17.2.2008-17.2.2019.’ appeared in the northern part of the divided town of Mitrovica, on the day when Pristina authorities are marking 11th years after Kosovo declared independence from Serbia.

The northern part of the town is where the Serbs create a majority and whose local authorities are loyal to Belgrade.

The billboards painted in black also show two white-coloured hands in handcuffs.
