Office for KiM: Systematic harassment of an elderly Serb woman in a village near Klina/Klinë (Blic)

Office for Kosovo and Metohija has condemned, according to them, a systematic harassment of 75-year-old Kata Grujić from the village of Donji Petrič, the municipality of Klina/Klinë. In two years she has been robbed six times, and now 25 chickens have been stolen from her.

- Police so far has failed to do anything that this Serb woman gets the opportunity to enjoy in old age peaceful and safe - the Office for Kosovo and Metohija has announced.

Djuric: Pristina responsible for low rate of return (Tanjug)

The rate of sustainable return of internally displaced persons to Kosovo-Metohija is the lowest among all post-conflict regions around the world, amounting to a mere 1.9 pct, the head of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said Monday.

At a meeting with Nancy Izzo Jackson, Deputy Assistant Secretary in the US Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration, Djuric expressed regret over a failure to include the return of IDPs in the agenda of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels.

In the village of Novake, near Prizren, three buildings that belong to Serb returnees were broken into.

''Despite all the efforts that as the ministry we invest through institutions in order to improve status of Serb returnees in the village of Novake, Osojane, Klina and all communities where they live, such things worry'', states the Ministry of Communities and Returns.

 

 

A Serb beaten in Osojane village (Kontakt plus radio)

Today was beaten Želimir Vuković, a returnee in the village of Osojane, near Tučep. Vukovic is 67 years old.

Vuković was beaten near his home when he went to the forest to see who cuts trees.

On the way back, Vuković was attacked and beaten.

The doctor at the clinic in Osojane, say that Vukovic's head, right shoulder and right leg are injured.

Jevtić: Stop the sale of property by constructing houses (KIM radio)

Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtić said today in the village of Donja Brnjica, near Pristina that by constructing houses for returnees in Kosovo may be stopped sale of the Serbian property.

Jevtić, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Rodoljub Mladenović, visited returnee family of Milanović in Donja Brnjica and family Stanković in Slivovo, near Pristina, where he promised to build houses.

Shots fired at a Serb home in Klina/Kline municipality (Tanjug)

Unknown perpetrators fired shots last night at a Serb house in the Rudica village in Kosovo, Klina/ Kline municipality, Tanjug learned from the sources at Kosovo's Ministry for Return and Communities.

No one was injured in the attack on Zarko Siljkovic's family home. The incident has been reported to the Kosovo Police.

At the time of the incident two people, father and son, were  in the house. The material damage was caused by bullets that hit the wall of the house.
