Milos Stevic has suffered knife injuries during an attack carried out by several ethnic Albanians in Klokot, southern Kosovo, RTS has reported.

The 23-year-old Serb was taken for treatment to the local hospital and his condition is stable. "The wounds inflicted on him targeted internal organs and were potentially fatal," Doctor Bratislav Lazic said.

The police said they launched an investigation into the attack which occurred on Saturday.

Deadline for the text of the statute of the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) is four months, as agreed in Brussels; Vecernje Novosti reported that it should be ready much earlier.  

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said that the ideas on the reciprocity to the Community / Association of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) are not grounded either in law, or in reality. "Certain local politicians from the southern Serbia stressed some ideas for some kind of reciprocity in relation to the ZSO. I can only say that we have heard these ideas and they look a bit ridiculous and frivolous.

Agreement on the establishment of the Community / Association of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) is the most important agreement which was signed in Brussels between Belgrade and Pristina, was stated from the Association of Montenegrins from Kosovo, adding that formation of ZSO is not a threat to any community in Kosovo.

Agreements signed in Brussels, in particular the one on the establishment of Community/Association of Serbian municipalities, are a big thing and will be "powerful instrument" of Serbs in Kosovo, said political analyst Dusan Janjic. He said that he expects the ZSO to start with its work until March.

Janjic believes that the ZSO is "a useful tool that allows you, if you know how to use it, certain advantages over the rest of Kosovo."

In accordance with the basic principles and main elements for the formation of the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo, which Belgrade and Pristina agreed two days ago in Brussels, the statute of the ZSO should be completed until 25 December 2015, Danas learns unofficially in diplomatic sources in Brussels.

A long time reporter from Kosovo Milivoje Mihajlovic said that not many things changed since June, when it comes to the Brussels talks. The only thing which changed is orientation of the EU to push for solving the topic. According to him, this is not an agreement about the Community/Association of the Serb municipalities (ZSO) but an agreement that Pristina stop denying it, since the agreement on ZSO was reached in 2013. "All agreements from Brussels are fulfilled except this one.

During the upcoming round of Brussels talks Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and prime minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa should sign memorandums on Community / Association of the Serbian municipalities (ZSO), energy and the removal of the “Peace Park”.

Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said today that the representatives of Belgrade in the dialogue with Pristina will go to Brussels next week with an aim to bring about the establishment of the community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) in the southern province.

After a meeting with the officials of Serb municipalities in KiM, Djuric said that the Belgrade delegation will try to justify the trust of all citizens of Serbia and bring about the agreement on setting up the ZSO.
