Activists are protesting against the prime minister's pay rise after he said he needed the extra money to buy ties and shirts.
Activists in Kosovo have hung hundreds of ties on a fence outside a government building in the capital, Pristina, to protest against a pay rise for the country’s prime minister.

B92 reports, based upon information of Prva TV, that former KLA leader Ramush Haradinaj was acquitted on the basis of revised decision, by which he was supposed to be extradited to Serbia.
As it was learned, the decision was justified by the fact that the consequences could be very difficult for Haradinaj, reported B92.
The news of the original decision and the revision this morning has appeared on the website Euronews but then it was withdrawn.
Senior officials from Serbia and Kosovo will hold talks in Brussels on Tuesday.
The EU-backed meeting is part of a long-term effort to normalise ties between the two.
“Both sides have committed to the dialogue and we expect that this commitment continues including to the implementation of the agreements that have been reached,” said Maja Kocijanic, an EU spokeswoman.
Kosovo police have stopped a Serbian train described as provocative from entering the Balkan country.
The words “Kosovo is Serbia” were painted down the side in multiple languages; on board was more nationalist material.
“Enough is enough”, said Kosovo’s prime minister Hashim Thaci who ordered troops to the border to stop the train in its tracks.

The US Vice President has praised the independence of Kosovo during a political and personal visit to the Balkan country.
On a visit to Pristina, Joe Biden also pushed for ties to be mended with Belgrade.
“Your success is overwhelmingly in the interest of my country. Overwhelmingly,” Biden said. “For if you succeed, the region will succeed.”
Biden also urged Kosovo and Serbia to normalise relations, a condition for both countries to join the EU.

Prosecutors in Kosovo charged 64 people including a government minister and 44 doctors with taking bribes to refer patients with heart problems – some of them already dead – to private clinics, the office of the state prosecutor said on Wednesday.
This is the biggest bribery investigation in the health sector since Kosovo became independent from Serbia in 2008.
“Some doctors received up to 500 euros in bribes from these (private) hospitals to refer a patient to put in a stent,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
Kosovo’s Prime Minister Isa Mustafa was pelted with eggs by a protester on Tuesday as he made a speech.
It’s the second time the premier has been the target of an egg thrower. Last month , opposition lawmakers threw them while he was speaking about an EU-brokered dialogue with Serbia.

The EU has failed to lay the foundations for fighting corruption in Kosovo, a report has concluded.
Law professor Jean-Paul Jacqué said corruption was ‘omnipresent’ in the region and Kosovo’s judiciary incapable of meeting the challenges of organised crime.
Mr Jacqué made the comments in his report on a scandal involving EULEX, the EU’s mission to establish rule of law in Kosovo.
Whistleblower Maria Bamieh last year accused EULEX of covering up a case of corruption in its own ranks.
