Vucic's Kosovo policy is unconstitutional, party warns (B92, Beta)

The DSS has assessed that President Aleksandar Vucic’s policy favoring "delineation" with the Albanians represents an unconstitutional activity.

The opposition party - which recently announced it was leaving all local-level coalition with Vucic's ruling DSS - said in a press release on Thursday that such an idea implies advocating in favor of changing Serbia's state borders, and in favor of renouncing a part of the country's territory.

DSS: Vucic acts contrary to Constitution (FoNet, Danas)

Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) said today that President Aleksandar Vucic with a statement “that he pledges for delineation with Albanians,” and “it is the politics he represent” is acting contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, since it envisages changes of Serbian borders and renouncing part of its territory to the benefit of Kosovo secessionists, Danas daily reported.

DSS breaks local coalitions with SNS over "surrender of Kosovo" (Kossev, N1)

The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) has decided that all municipal councils of the DSS should break local coalitions with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), reports Serbian media.

DSS President Milos Jovanovic told reporters that the coalition with the Progressives was broken up in 14 municipalities.

DSS: Statement of Ana Brnabic on Kosovo scandalous and shameful (BETA)

Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Milos Jovanovic termed the statement of Serbian PM “that Kosovo was Serbia” as scandalous, shameful and utterly unacceptable, BETA news agency reported.

“Miss Brnabic by this statement only confirmed she is unworthy of the function she happens to have, but also that the Government she heads is getting ready to capitulate, and not to find a compromise,” Jovanovic said in a written statement.

“SNS came to power through Jarinje, would leave after handing over Kosovo” (BETA)

Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Milos Jovanovic said that “Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) came to the power through Jarinje, and would leave after they hand over Kosovo,” BETA news agency reported.

Jovanovic added that SNS is heading towards “a high treason” and surrender of Kosovo, while Caslav Koprivica, member of the DSS Political Board said “the intention of the Serbian authorities and the West” is to put an end to the Kosovo issue.

Milos Jovanovic: If this continues, Nis would become Albanian (BETA, B92)

Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Milos Jovanovic told BETA news agency, Serbian Government has rejected a proposal in 2007 similar to that of a legally binding agreement that is being offered to Aleksandar Vucic now.

Jovanovic assessed if Vucic does what he says he would do then it would be an “act of a high treason.”

“It looks like if one man is Messiah or given by God to resolve that issue. We must not give legal cover up to secession, but to re-affirm international law,” DSS leader said.

DSS: Serbian Orthodox Church appeal on Kosovo to be guidance (BETA, B92)

Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Milos Jovanovic said that the message from the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) Holly Archbishops Assembly message on Kosovo and Metohija should be “a guidance for a change of current Serbia’s policy towards Kosovo and Metohija,” BETA news agency reported.

Jovanovic added the SOC appealed to our statesmen to never consent to the alienation of Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian media reported.

Jovanovic: President of Republic confirmed he has no proposal for Kosovo solution (Danas)

President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vucic in February said he would present to the public his proposal for Kosovo solution by the end of March or beginning of April, in March he said he would do so by the end of April, and now he says “he is not certain” it would happen that way, as there is no solution yet, Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Milos Jovanovic said in a written statement, Danas daily reports.
