"Expectations are not fulfilled, we are guilty ourselves" (Kontakt plus radio, RTV KiM)

"The Albanians gained what they wanted with Kosovo's independence, but they did not fulfil their expectations nor they have justified the assistance given to them," Nexhmedin Spahiu told Radio Television KiM (RTV KiM). Analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu said in a statement to RTV KiM that Albanians in Kosovo by declaring independence got the state, as well as "recognition from the greater part of the world", but, as he said, they did not recognize themselves. "That's why our expectations were much higher than our achievements in these ten years.

Analyst from Kosovo Nexhmedin Spahiu says that threats of Edi Rama and Hashim Thaçi to the EU on the unification of Albania and Kosovo are nonsense.

Spahiu said that the eventual unification of Kosovo and Albania cannot jeopardize FYROM or Montenegro, let alone Serbia, and that statements of these two officials were funny, he also said that the threat to EU on unification can only make harm to the people of Kosovo and Albania.

By presenting a Serbian List representative as candidate for President of Kosovo, the Serbs would be helping Hashim Thaci, said analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu. He explained that in these circumstances the election of Thaci for President of Kosovo does not depend on the votes of the Serbian deputies in Parliament. However, according to voting procedure, elections must be held between at least two candidates.
