Bura hampers the ZSO (Vecernje Novosti)

Special Advisor to the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini for dialogue Ana-Maria Bura, otherwise staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, advocates the prolongation of the agreement on the Community of Serbian municipalities, Vecernje Novosti writes.

EU fully supports UP Rector Zejnullahu (RTK)

The EU Office in Kosovo has issued a press statement expressing concern with recent developments at the University of Pristina (UP) regarding the dismissal of Rector Ramadan Zejnullahu. “We express full support for the attempts of the Rector of the University of Pristina to protect the quality of higher education and introduce principles of good governance by putting clear academic criteria in place, in order for the students to acquire the knowledge and the skills they need to be competitive at the labour market and to find high skill jobs,” the statement reads.

Troika to change Berlin’s text (Vecernje Novosti)

Serbia has launched a diplomatic initiative to change counts in the draft platform of the so called Kosovo Chapter 35, which was proposed by Germany in the EU accession process. In next couple days Serbia will make efforts aimed at having better text of the platform of Chapter 35, through friendly states in the Working Party on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA), which is practically the last step before European leaders adopt the final platform.

"No new conditions for Serbia" - German ambassador (Dailies)

There are no new conditions for the continuation of Serbia's EU integration nor demands to recognize Kosovo, says German Ambassador Axel Dittmann.

In addition, he stressed that Germany "supports the opening of chapters 35 and 32 in Serbia's EU membership talks next year." "The normalization process, the process of accession should go in parallel," said Dittmann during a conference dedicated to EU accession negotiations and normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

EU Office: Political parties to find solutions through dialogue (Gazeta Express)

The European Union Office in Kosovo, through a press release said that the President’s call for political dialogue is the right step towards resolving the political situation created in Kosovo. “President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga’s call for political dialogue in Kosovo is the right step towards resolving the current situation. We urge the political parties to show responsibility and find a solution through the dialogue for the sake of Kosovo’s future,” read the press release.

Ambassador Moro: No new conditions for Serbia (Blic, Politika, Tanjug)

The French Ambassador to Serbia Christine Moro said that Chapter 35 does not have anything that was not included in the Brussels agreement, and that they want Belgrade and Pristina to normalise relations.

Moro said that it would be good now to open Chapter 35 as it would prove that the dialogue has produced results and that Serbia was making progress in the accession talks.
