Furthermore, being that the Assembly has not received the endorsed draft of the government, the public opinion would have been in a complete dark, if Gazeta Blic and movement FOL did not publish it.

Ibrahim Kelmendi, who was accused by a unnamed witness that he offered him money to murder a senior Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) official, Xhavit Haliti, told Express that such accusations are false. Kelmendi said that he had no ambitions to replace the leader of the PDK, Hashim Thaci in his post. He claimed that he had some conflicts with Haliti before 1996, but according to him, he was not affected by it as to engage someone to kill him. “I will tell the same things to the Prosecution as well,” Kelmendi said.

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci on Thursday met with Japan nonresident ambassador to Kosovo, Makoto Taketoshi. Thaci and Taketoshi discussed the cooperation between Kosovo and Japan and the support that Japan is giving to Kosovo in the political, economic and cultural area. "Kosovo can learn a lot from Japan’s experience in economic development. I was glad to learn that Japan will create even more opportunities for young people to study in Japan, " Thaci said.

BERLIN (Reuters) - Kosovo's Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci urged the European Union and NATO to speed up integration of Balkan states or risk the spreading influence of both Russia and Islamist extremists.

Thaci, the first prime minister of independent Kosovo until last year, told Reuters he hoped for tangible results in the coming months, such as a new EU visa regime for Kosovo.

"It is very distressing that people leave," Kosovo's Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci said in Berlin on Monday during a meeting with German top diplomat Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci appealed during his visit to Germany to the deputies of this country to interrupt isolation of Kosovo. Thaci stressed that the future of Kosovo is in the European Union and NATO.

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci reiterated that Kosovo will sue Serbia for genocide. Thaci made the comments in a press conference after meeting Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati in Pristina. Bushati on his part said that Kosovo’s integrity is guaranteed by its Constitution and that Kosovo has already been recognised by many countries. Bushati also met Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and discussed upcoming joint meetings of the two governments expected to take place on 23 March in Tirana.

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, is expected to visit German early March on invitation of his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Apart from discussing ways to deepen cooperation, Thaci will also discuss with his German host economic and trade exchange between Kosovo and Germany.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, stated today that the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hashim Thaci, is expected to become the President of Kosovo next year. Mustafa said during a press conference that the Democratic League of Kosovo will respect the agreement with the Democratic Party of Kosovo, adding that Thaci will become the President of Kosovo in 2016.

Foreign ministers of thirteen countries of south east Europe are taking part in the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) conference in Tirana, along with European Union representatives. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama addressed the participants saying countries in the region should speak with one voice in the EU and that the EU would be more fragile without the inclusion of the region. Rama also said that a joint resolution against terrorism is expected to be adopted at the end of the two-day meeting.
