Kosovo President Hashim Thaci says in an interview with the Vienna daily Presse that the ''case'' of Marko Djuric was unnecessary and that something like this should not be repeated, and that he agreed with the President of Serbia about necessity of the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, reports Belgrade based daily Blic.

Former EU envoy for Kosovo, Wolfgang Petritsch said in an interview for the Vienna-based Die Presse paper that the killing of the Kosovo Serb political leader, Oliver Ivanovic, puts into question the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. He said he knew Ivanovic personally and added that he was one of the persons who sincerely tried to find a solution alongside the Albanian majority in Kosovo. “I don’t want to speculate about the background of the killing but it has seriously challenged the dialogue,” Petritsch said.

The President of the Assembly of Kosovo Kadri Veseli, told the Austrian prestigious newspaper “Die Presse” that what is happening in northern Kosovo reminds him on the operations at Crimea peninsula, prior to being annexed by Russia.
