Belgrade considers launching arbitrage over tariffs? (Vecernje Novosti, Radio kontakt plus)

Belgrade is thinking of launching an arbitrage over the tariffs Pristina imposed on goods from central Serbia last November thus violating CETFA agreement, Vecernje Novosti reported. According to the daily, this option is on the table since 25 February after the 90 days have passed when the Government of Serbia submitted an official request to the CEFTA Secretariat to have a direct consultation within the Joint Committee on the matter. At the moment of submitting the request, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic announced launching a proceeding before the Court of Arbitrage if the issue is not resolve

Serbian Prime Minster Ana Brnabic said Serbia remains committed to integrated and stable region, Tanjug news agency reported. She added, however it is not fair to insist on signing the other agreements, while Pristina does not respect some of the fundamental regional agreements.

Ischinger: We are miles away from solution to Kosovo issue (Politika)

German expert for Balkans Wolfgang Ischinger, creator of a plan to resolve the Kosovo issue based on model of two Germany, told the Belgrade-based daily Politika that solution to the Kosovo issue is not nearby. He added he would be the first one to welcome if there would be a plan widely supported in the Serbian society and the Parliament as well as that the plan is also equally accepted in Kosovo.

We remember March 24 as the day when diplomacy failed and we sincerely regret the civilian casualties during the 1999 events, said the Joint Statement of Condolence of representatives of embassies of Canada, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States of America State.

“We share the pain with all those who lost their loved ones in the wars from the 90s,” the embassies wrote on 20th anniversary of the NATO bombing of former Yugoslavia.

McAllister: It is the most important that Belgrade and Pristina return at negotiation table (RTS, RTV)

The European Union has mediated and will continue doing so in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia David McAllister told the Radio Television of Vojvodina. He made these remarks after asked to comment on the EU Hight Representative Federica Mogherini statement that the final agreement between Belgrade and Pristina would have to be supported by the UN Security Council. He noted it is the most important now that Belgrade and Pristina return at the negotiation table.
