The Kosovar Institute for Policy Research and Development (KIPRED) today presented the report “What happened with Kosovo Albanians: the role of religion in ethnic identity".  According to this report, Kosovo's institutions and political parties have failed to prevent Islamic radicalism, although they had a legal obligation to do so.

Kosovo continues to suffer and to be a dysfunctional state as a consequence of corruption especially at a high profile level, while there is a lack of political will to combat it officially.
