Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that stands of Serbia and Albania over Kosovo are very much different but he will not allow that this huge gap destroys the opportunity for overcoming divisions from the past. Serbia is not considering recognition of Kosovo’s independence, said Vucic and added that Tirana and Pristina are the only places where they talk about it. “No one talked about recognition. No one considered recognition as a topic. It wasn’t even the part of negotiations in Brussels, neither in Belgrade nor elsewhere.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said today in Tirana that states of the region expect from the European Union better and bigger assistance, and if it is not possible than Europe should say so in order that we try to make it in our own ways.

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said that his visit to Albania, where he met with top officials, was "good for the future of the two peoples and countries."

Differences that were expressed in talks are evident, he said, adding that "the two have bravely initiated a process that could only bring prosperity."

The Prime Minister of Albania, stated at the press conference after his meeting with Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, that Albanians in the south of Serbia deserve to have the same treatment as Serbs in northern Kosovo. “I believe that this is in the spirit of our joint effort to achieve on the relations of the region with the power of example and not with the example of power. I have never heard about any complaint from Serbs who live in Albania.
