Assistant Director of the KiM Office Petar Petkovic was stopped at Jarinje administrative crossing and was not allowed to enter Kosovo, reports portal Kosovo online.

Petkovic has been waiting at Jarinje crossing for more than an hour, according to the portal.

Petkovic went to the first pre-election convention of the Serbian List, which is being held in Leposavic today at 1 pm, where he was about to speak on behalf of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Mayor of Leposavic Zoran Todic told Kosovo Online news portal that allegations made by Kosovo media that he participated in a fight and that he was allegedly beaten are pure fabrication, reports Belgrade based daily Danas.

In northern Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic, sessions were held yesterday where the elected mayors of these municipalities officially started their mandate after winning the 19 May elections.

Oaths were laid by mayors Goran Rakic, Vucina Jankovic, Srdjan Vulovic and Zoran Todic.

Kosovo border police officers opened fire at a van with Serbian licence plates after the driver refused to stop, a Kosovo police spokesman told the media, reports regional broadcaster N1, quoting Beta news agency.

“After the convincing triumph of Serbian List representatives in the elections, Pristina’s authorities will try to bring fear and insecurity among the Serbs in the southern province with additional pressures” said Zoran Todic, newly elected mayor of Leposavic told portal Srpski Telegraf.

He pointed out that Pristina was trying to break Serbian unity, and in recent months.

Serbian opposition leader Dragan Djilas said during his visit to Kosovo that he understands what local Serbs have to go through if they don’t support President Aleksandar Vucic.

“After the organized verbal assault and insults by local bullies, I realized once again what people living in Kosovo go through if they don’t support Aleksandar Vucic,” Djilas told Belgrade daily Danas. The Alliance for Serbia founder visited Kosovo on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Founders of the opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS), Dragan Djilas and Slavisa Ristic, accompanied by Marko Jaksic, Aleksandar Corac and local activists of the Serb National Movement Fatherland visited Leposavic yesterday, where a group of about 20 young men caused a verbal incident.

“The latest provocation of Mitrovica South mayor Agim Bahtiri, who during the visit to the Leposavic municipality, more precisely to the village of Saljska Bistrica announced the annexation of these villages from north of Kosovo and Metohija, is causing concerns among the citizens, and I on behalf of the Serbian List and the Serbian people, condemn this in the most strongest terms,” Zoran Todic, mayor of Leposavic municipality said in a written statement, TV Most reported.

Radio Television Mir (RTV Mir) reported on educational workshops within the project "NO means NO"  that were held in the premises of Leposavic municipality, where the methods of self-defense and the help of psychologists were presented, as a part of the ways of how Kosovo youth fights to reduce the number of cases of violence.

KFOR spokesman Vicenzo Grasso confirmed the "movement of KFOR troops today and earlier days" in Kosovo and stressed that it was about "normal exercises," reported regional broadcaster N1.

KFOR is conducting regular training activities to keep ready to be rapidly deployed across Kosovo in accordance with UNSCR 1244, said KFOR and added that convoys moved yesterday towards Prizren and today towards North of Kosovo.
