Blic: A group of Bishops seeks the urgent Assembly and the position of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Kosovo (TV Most, KIM radio)

Six bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church have asked the Synod to schedule the Assembly in order the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) to determine and take a unique position on the solution for Kosovo, the Belgrade daily Blic writes today.

According to the daily, the bishops have been sending requests in the last two months, but the Synod did not specifically answer any of the bishops.

The President of the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo Ekaterina Trendafilova says that the court will provide an impartial and fair trial to the accused, but also that it will prosecute those who try to in any way threaten the safety of victims and witnesses or exert any kind of pressure on judges, report Serbian media.

Dodik: If Serbia accepted the separation of Kosovo and we would be separated (DW, RTS, Blic, N1, Dnevnik, TV Most)

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that the policy of preserving territorial integrity, represented by Serbia, is an obstacle to the separation of Republika Srpska.

"If Serbia, in that moment, has said that it was OK, when Kosovo seceded, we would have been already separated," Dodik said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.

If Belgrade decides to recognize Kosovo's independence, Dodik says, he would not object, but it would mean that the Republika Srpska could be independent.

In North Mitrovica declared an epidemic; the number of people suffering from measles in Kosovo grows (TV Most)

In northern Mitrovica, the number of people suffering from measles is growing, and the epidemic has been declared, reports TV Most.

Since last week, the number of patients, according to the data from the infectious department, has risen from 14 to over 70 people.

The Serbian List says that Pristina’s actions at administrative crossings show an obvious attempt to prevent IDPs from central Serbia to vote in Kosovo, TV Most reports.

The List urges the authorities to free all administrative crossings and enable unhindered voting and to stop interfering in the election process, reports TV Most.

 

 

 

Veselinovic: Up to 11 hours voted about 10.30 % of the population (TV Most, Radio Gračanica)

A representative from the Serbian community in the Central Election Commission, Stevan Veselinović, told Radio Gračanica that the vote in Kosovo flows regular, with sporadic and technical problems that were resolved at the very moment.

"For now, everything flows well, except for some small, sporadic technical problems. There were some small incidents that were resolved at the very moment," Veselinović told Radio Gračanica.

Đurić and Šarčević in North Mitrovica with directors of educational institutions in Kosovo (TV Most)

On Saturday in North Mitrovica Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić and Metohija and Minister of Education Mladen Šarčević met with the directors of preschool, primary and secondary educational institutions in Kosovo. In the meeting they have discussed the reform of the Law on Education, curriculums and the support to the educational institutions in Kosovo, reported TV Most.

Commenting yesterday's arrest of Serbian List activists, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić estimates for RTS that this is not a coincidence, adding that Pristina, perhaps and a part of the international community, does not correspond to unity of Serbs and institutional ties with the state of Serbia, TV Most reports.

TV Most: Ivanović and Milović are exercising inappropriate pressure on the media (TV Most)

Leadership of the Television Most from Zvečan issued on yesterday a statement, in a response to the announcement of the representatives of CI SDP Oliver Ivanović and CI “For Our Zvečan”- Dragiša Milović, to file a lawsuit against this media.

According to the press statement, the controversial videos were aired on this TV station, “under commercial conditions and within a paid term”, and therefore, representatives of these two civic initiatives “thereby exerted undue pressure on the media”.

“Horrific campaign against Ivanovic, Milovic and Jablanovic” (FoNet, KIM Radio)

Five journalist and media associations (NUNS, NDNV, ANEM, LP and AOM) in the strongest terms condemned airing of a promotional video on TV Most and TV Pink by which “a horrific campaign” is underway against Oliver Ivanovic and his colleagues Dragisa Milovic and Dragan Jablanovic, Serbian media reported.

“The acts of the above mentioned media represent a grave violation of journalistic standards and electoral rules, something that Oliver Ivanovic warned the Independent Media Commission in Kosovo yesterday and complained against the work of TV Most from Zvecan,” KIM Radio reported.
