  Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić had talks several countries’ officials on the margins of the 69th UN General Assembly sitting in New York. He met with Spanish counterpart Jose Garcia Margalla, who reiterated Spain’s support to Serbia’s stand on the Kosovo issue. The two emphasized that bilateral cooperation was excellent at all levels and expressed an interest in strengthening economic cooperation. They also agreed that a bilateral ministerial meeting should be organized soon in order to improve economic cooperation.
