Vucic: No European prospects if Kosovo remains frozen conflict (TV N1, BETA)

Serbia will have no European prospects if Kosovo conflict remains frozen, President Aleksandar Vucic warned on Tuesday. “If the Kosovo conflict remains frozen you can be sure there will be no European prospects, you can be sure investments will drop,” Vucic told Serbian reporters after his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. Key powers, Russia included, replacing ambassadors in Serbia (Vecernje Novosti, Tanjug, B92)

Some key world powers will be soon sending their new ambassadors to Belgrade, "especially when it comes to solving the Kosovo issue." The daily Vecernje Novosti writes this on Tuesday, adding that Berlin has already announced a replacement for Axel Dittmann - Thomas Schild, previously a part of the German UN mission. The mandate of UK Ambassador Denis Keefe is expiring as well, and his successor is expected to arrive here in the fall. The Russian embassy, headed for six years by Aleksandr Chepurin, will also see changes.

"For China, Kosovo is Serbia, and so it shall remain" (Tanjug, B92)

Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang has said that as far as Beijing is concerned, Kosovo is Serbia - and that it shall remain that way. Drecun: Elections if people say no in Kosovo issue popular vote (N1)

The head of Serbia’s Parliament Kosovo Committee said that a final stage of Belgrade – Pristina dialogue was approaching and that the diplomatic activities should increase, adding that Serbia would not allow Kosovo to become a UN member.
