Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic reiterated on Thursday that "Serbia leads an independent policy, and citizens are the ones who decide."

Vucic added that in terms of Kosovo, "we need to have a realistic, rational and responsible approach, look to the future, and succeeding in making the most of what we can do."

Latest country to revoke recognition of Kosovo revealed (Serbian media)

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic late on Thursday showed Papua New Guinea's official note rescinding its recognition of Kosovo as an independent state.

This is the sixth country to have done so in the past several years.

US president could visit Serbia soon – FM (B92)

US President Donald Trump could visit Serbia at the earliest by the end of the year or early next spring, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has said.

"The organization of this kind of visit is a serious business that takes place for a few months. Taking into account all that, Trump could come to Serbia either in the spring ir the end of the year," Dacic told Srpski Telegraf.
According to him, this visit would be of great importance to Belgrade.

UNDP Public Pulse Analyses: 95% of Serbs do not feel safe in Kosovo (Kossev)

The latest six-month UNDP "Public Pulse" report was presented in Pristina, it showed that 95% of Serbs do not feel safe in Kosovo, reports RTV KiM.

In a survey conducted at the end of April, which covers the period from October last year to April this year, out of 210 Serb respondents, only 5% said they felt safe in the streets of Kosovo.

Ivica Dacic told the Belgrade daily Politika on Wednesday that there would be no better Pope for Serbia and that he believed that the current head of the Roman Catholic Church should visit the country.

Ruzic: Serbia do not have well-intentioned interlocutors on Kosovo (Serbian media)

Serbian Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Branko Ruzic says that Serbia is striving to reach a sustainable solution for Kosovo through dialogue, but that it does not have well-intentioned interlocutors on the other side, reports Serbian media.

He stresses that interlocutors on the other hand, representatives of Kosovo institutions, do not have enough understanding of the spirit of the time in which we are.
