Interior Minister Hyseni has no intentions to resign (Koha)
Kosovo’s Internal Affairs Minister, Skender Hyseni, during an interview for KTV said he will not resign his post following the death of Vetevendosje activist Astrit Dehari in Prizren detention center. According to him, initially the relevant institutions should investigate the case and depending on the findings, those responsible should be held accountable regarding the case. “We must let the institutions carry out their work,” Hyseni said. While in regards to border demarcation agreement with Montenegro, Hyseni said that if experts say the border demarcation between Kosovo and Montenegro is OK, then the agreement should be ratified, adding that he does not agree with demarcation as a condition for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
