Kosovo’s Minister for European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, met today in Brussels with the EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, to discuss the integrating agenda of Kosovo.

Minister Hoxha stressed progress made in many fields, starting from the rule of law, economic development and good neighborly relations.

Hoxha requested from Hahn support, especially on economic development respectively help for new entrepreneurs that would impact increase of working places.

Stabilisation Association Agreement is our joint success, therefore we consider that the process should accelerate in order to focus on fulfilling adequate reforms. The government of Kosovo is committed to fulfill SAA obligations,” Hoxha said. She also stressed the importance of conclusion of the visa liberalization process and free movement of the people.

Hahn reiterated the position for Kosovo’s European perspective. On this occasion he stressed the importance of implementation of the European Agenda Reforms and implementation of SAA.

Hahn confirmed support for Kosovo and its European perspective as well as support for Minister Hoxha in her efforts to make the integrating process dynamic.
