Haradinaj: Border games in the Balkans are dangerous (Lajmi/DW)
In an interview to Deutsche Welle in Serbian, Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj commented on the statements of certain politicians in Serbia about the possibility of Kosovo's partition saying that border games in the Balkans are extremely dangerous. "Tragic consequences would be huge and it is not wise to discuss this now," Haradinaj said.
Speaking about dialogue with Serbia, Haradinaj said the process should end in Kosovo's recognition by Serbia. "The people of Kosovo expect Serbia recognising independence at the end of the dialogue," he noted. As for the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities, Haradinaj said: "We were ready to do this in line with the Constitution of Kosovo. Agreement in Brussels did not respect the Constitution and is not in line with it. Establishment of this community is only possible in accordance to the Constitution."
