Lancaster expresses his country’s commitment for Kosovo (RTK)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, hosted today a meeting with the Minister of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, Mark Lancaster.

PM Haradinaj said the visit of the Minister Lancaster is a moving momentum, as he served as officer of Great Britain during 1999-2000 and now he comes as Minister of Security Force, which proves that Kosovo and the United Kingdom continue to be friendly countries.

Expressing appreciation for Great Britain’s continuous support, Haradinaj informed that they discussed today deepening of bilateral relations.

Great Britain’s Minister of the Armed Forces, Mark Lancaster expressed enthusiasm for being in Kosovo again and for seeing a dynamic city such as Pristina.

“When you serve somewhere as soldier and you leave that place, you always take something from it. During these 18 years, Kosovo has never been far from my thoughts, therefore I am happy to be back.” Lancaster said.

Minister Lancaster further said connection with Kosovo will flourish with their and KFOR’s contribution to help Kosovo’s Security Force, as well as other fields where cooperation can be built during the next years.
