Haradinaj: United Nations' role, irreplaceable (media)

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, met the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Bintou Keita, and discussed important issues Kosovo is facing and the progress achieved in the last two decades. Haradinaj thanked the UN for its contribution and said: “The role of the United Nations has been irreplaceable in the first stages of state-building and peace restoration. Kosovo is committed to its European path and full membership in the UN.” Haradinaj also spoke about economic development, rule of law, consolidation of democracy and full integration of non-majority communities saying Kosovo has played important role in promoting peace in the region.
