"Pristina has no more space for avoiding the formation of the ZSO" (RTS)
Professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Dragan Djukanovic, told national broadcaster Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that he believes that the next round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will be at the beginning of September, and that by then Pristina must give some outlines of the ZSO Statute.
Dragan Djukanovic said visiting the RTS News that a more serious continuation of the dialogue will not happen until the adoption of the final version of the ZSO Statute.
"The Kosovo side is trying to prolong the establishment of the ZSO and I think that the EU will now insist more on the final document. The next goal, I believe, will be that the management team to inform the EU in the next month about the progress so far," Djukanovic believes.
He thinks that the next round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will not be until September.
"I think that the next round of dialogue will be at the beginning of September and until then Pristina has to give some outlines of the Statute of the ZSO. Pristina has no more objective space to avoid the formation of the ZSO for more than five years," explains Professor Djukanovic.
He also believes that there is a significant space for the final agreement between Belgrade and Pristina.
"I do not believe normalization will involve radical scenarios, and I think that at this moment the United States will make pressure with Pristina with a more rational approach," Djukanovic says.
