Selakovic: Kosovo is the most complex problem, we have nothing to wait (RTS, Blic, NMagazin)
The question of Kosovo is the most important and complex problem, we must not wait any more, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is in favor of a solution that would avoid the war in the future, Secretary General of the President of Serbia Nikola Selakovic said today. - What to wait, will we wait that in the situation in which we stuck our heads in the sand, we endanger both the economy and the new jobs and we have reduced to half the unemployment that was left to us by those who were waiting, who were waiting the time that passed and destroyed us and that there is less and less of us - said Selakovic to RTS.
He reminded that it was not the first time that Vucic was talking about demarcation as an option for resolving the Kosovo issue, and that the former SFRY president Dobrica Cosic did it.
According to him, in terms of Kosovo, one part of the world looks at that question on one, and the other part in a completely different way.
We do not have our public security organs, the defense authorities in that territory, which is a basic element of the sovereignty of a state and it has almost 95 percent of the inhabitants who do not want to live in Serbia, he said.
Commenting on the reaction of Britain and Germany to Vucic's statement, which pointed out that they oppose the demarcation option, Selakovic emphasized that one should not forget what these countries are advocating for.
- They want an independent Kosovo. And their problem with Vucic is because he will not accept it, and that he does not want to say Kosovo is independent within these borders imposed to us. And he struggles for all to get more. From the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) to every one of our men, whether he lives in Štrpce, Klokot, Ranilug, Gračanica or Metohija - he said.
