Blic: Kosovo police detained Mayor Nis and released him the following morning
According to the Belgrade-based daily Blic, the Mayor of Nis, Darko Bulatovic, was allegedly taken to the Clinical Center Nis after he complained of injuries that he sustained during his visit to Kosovo. As Blic unofficially discovers, Bulatovic received a hand injury during an intervention by the Kosovo police when he was detained Saturday night.
From the Clinical Center in Nis they reported to Blic that Bulatovic was admitted to the hospital because he complained of pain in the head area, neck and limbs. For the sake of precaution, he was moved to the observation room, although was established injury of the forearm of his left arm.
According to unofficial information, one hour after midnight at the administrative crossing at Merdare, the mayor of Nis, Darko Bulatovic, and member of the assembly in the city assembly of Milos Sekulic, were stopped by the Kosovo police who detained them. As Blic learned, allegedly Bulatovic's hand was twisted, and then they caught Sekulic. Blic reported that both remained at the police station until morning, and were released home in the morning, and arrived in Nis during the day.
Blic states that Bulatovic did not answer his phone when, when the daily tried to receive comment from him.
